Anyone missing something?

Lost type?

I found a letter of the alphabet yesterday, on the street near where i parked my car.

If you can identify it and tell me what street it was on, I can arrange for its return.

      sorry, it's not an "i"

      if no one claims the missing type, i will consider it my own. . .but i may put it up for sale. i cannot, of course, post an image of it or i would have a million (metric) claimants.

      actual true story. in 8th grade a boy came into our classroom and said he had found a ten dollar bill on the playground. he asked who lost it.

      about a third of the class claimed it. he was quite shaken. . .then he asked who could tell him the serial number, as he looked at the bill to check. hmmm. . .i wonder what his eventual fate was. . .
