i put a few vintage diner shots in the gallery
what goes together better than chrome, stainless steel and neon?
- the "rosies diner" here is the same rosies from the bounty paper towel ads of the 70s and 80s -
(they make a wicked milkshake)
from www.dinercity.com

Re: diner signs -
Tue, March 8, 2005 - 2:23 PMrockford michigan - near grand rapids - what started out as just "rosies diner" has become "diner city" - there is rosies - that servers diner food and is a perfectly restored vintage diner inside and out - then they have one on either side of it - one that is a mor upscale restaurant/cocktail lounge and one that is an art gallery where the owner sells his diner themed art - they even have a diner food themed puttputt golf course . . .
rosies was originaly in new jersy somewhere and was decaying and going to be sold for scrap when some guy bought it and brought it to michigan - one of the great things about vintage diners is they are portable . . . -
